2020 : The Original Re-make of American movie 2012

2020………… When we will hear this some years later, we all will have the same initial response: Fear. It would bring back all the memories with a chill down our spine. It would make us re-live all the moments and we would fall in the dark sea of horrors from the past. Those who have seen the horrors will take less time to recover but those who have faced and lived them will take more of it. But one thing will be same for all: An Unusual Shiver.

We were all happy and celebrating the 1st January 2020 unaware of the dark future. All of us were busy making plans one way of the other. The Governments were busy tackling their own political and economical issues. The major global issues still remained a priority for most of the nations. Amidst all this, The NASA had already cleared the air on "The nearby passing Asteroid". Then emerged " Taal Volcanic" eruptions in Philippines. This was followed by "The Australian Bush fires". Then entered the Chinese virus "COVID-19" into the big picture and the rest is painful history.

The World as we speak of is fighting multiple problems at the same time. The Australian Bush Fire is still wrecking havoc in the parts of Australia. This has not only lead to the loss of life and vegetation but also global warming. The heat produced by these fires are the major cause of  " The Brown Glaciers" in New Zealand. As a result of the bush fire, the glaciers turned brown leading to the meltdown. This was accompanied by the growth of grass in the Himalayas. Well, you would say that the grass is good ? Right ? But no, this is no good for The Great Himalayas. According to the Scientists, the grass can lead to major loss of glaciers and rising Sea Level. These glaciers remind us of the Hollywood movie "The Day After Tomorrow" where these phenomena is explained in a very simple manner.

 It's only been about 5 months and the world has faced earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, glacier meltdown, floods, viruses, bush fires, cyclones and many more. It's been about a week that Uttarakhand's Fire is destroying the wildlife and not many know about. The World knows about Australian Bush Fire but not of Uttarakhand. A movie was released about a decade ago named 2012. It was all about the destruction that was the result of improper use of Earth's natural resources. There were many who had the same thought, "What if the world destruction happened like this ?" It was just a child's fantasy but very much thinkable.  It seems as if our fantasy is being fulfilled by the Mother Earth. 

Recently the Scientists discovered the weakening of the Earth's Magnetic Field have caused the malfunctioning of some of the Satellites. The flow of the molten iron in the core of the Earth have weakened in strength .They say that it happens once every 800,000 years. The impact of this will be far ore than we can ever imagine. The radio waves will be the first of many to be hindered and so will our internet. In the present world, we can't live without the internet for a day. 17 Years back a movie named "The Core" was released and exactly this scenario was it's plot. 

 Just how comical can our lives be ? The Year of 2020 is turning out to be worst. And reasons ? We the humans are the sole reason for all the destruction that is upon us. Just like our home, we the people must take proper care of our planet. We must use the natural resources properly and without wasting any of it. If we don't do this, remember that there's only one planet Earth. If we destroy it, we destroy ourselves, we destroy the life force on Earth. There's still time to alter our path and save ourselves from annihilation. So, it's better to be safe than sorry. We have to plant the seeds of prosperity today to get the results tomorrow.
